Tour Program
DAY 1: ISTANBUL – BUDAPEST (Gypsy Night)
At Istanbul Airport’s International Terminal, after checking in 3 hours before flight, completing baggage check, check-in, and passport control procedures, we meet at the boarding gate 1 hour before the flight. We fly to Budapest on Turkish Airlines flight TK1033, departing at 11:55. Local time 13:00, we arrive in Budapest, and after meeting our private vehicle at the airport, we depart for our city tour. During our panoramic city tour, we will discover Budapest’s most important historical and symbolic buildings while walking in the Castle District. We will see the Royal Palace, medieval houses, enjoy the stunning view from the Fisherman’s Bastion, visit the great Matthias Church, and glimpse Gellert Hill, which hosts the city’s breathtaking fortress, as well as see the famous State Opera House, the magnificent Parliament building, and St. Stephen’s Basilica panoramically. After the city tour, we will transfer to our hotel and have free time. Guests wishing to do so can join our optionally organized Gypsy Night program, which includes dinner and limited local drinks. We will have our dinner while enjoying Hungarian dance and music, spending a delightful evening. After the tour, we will transfer back to our hotel.
DAY 2: BUDAPEST (Hungarian Combo Tour) – (Danube River Boat and Budapest Night Tour)
After breakfast, we have a full day of free time. Guests wishing to do so can join the optionally organized Hungarian Combo Tour. Our tour begins with a visit to Szentendre, which will take us on a fairytale journey with its historical texture and unique view by the Danube River, and continues with a visit to Visegrad, a thermal city where we witness the magnificent hunting castle and stunning nature views. Next, we see the town of Parkany, located on the border of Hungary in Southern Slovakia, known in Turkish history as “Çiğer Delen,” and take a break here. Finally, we will visit Estergon, which is important for Ottoman history, and Estergon Castle, completing our tour and returning to the hotel. In the evening, guests wishing to do so can join the optionally organized Danube River Cruise and Budapest Night Tour. In this tour, we will first have a boat trip on the Danube River where we can see Budapest’s iconic structures and beauty, along with one drink offered. After the boat trip, we will experience the beauty added to the city by evening lights through a walking tour. We will transfer back to our hotel after the tour.
DAY 3: BUDAPEST (Bratislava Tour) – VIENNA (Vienna Masterpieces and Grinzing Tour)
After breakfast and checking out from the hotel, we move towards Vienna. On the way, guests wishing to do so can join the optionally organized Bratislava Tour. Bratislava, which recently served as the capital of Hungary for approximately 500 years and is now the capital of Slovakia, has managed to preserve its traditional structure unlike many European cities and shows this quality in its architectural structure, culture, and culinary delights. We will explore the old town, formed from cobbled side streets, and the tour along the Danube River that divides the city in two, followed by free time before continuing our journey to Vienna. After reaching our hotel in the Vienna region and receiving our rooms, guests wishing to do so can join the optionally organized Vienna Masterpieces and Grinzing Tour. As the capital of Austria, Vienna is one of Europe’s most important cultural, political, and artistic centers, having been the capital of many empires and hosting numerous civilizations due to its advantageous geographical position. Therefore, the tour will feature a wealth of palaces, cathedrals, and historic buildings; principal sites include the University, Parliament, Opera House, Vienna Theatre, Prater, Hofburg, museum district, Karlsplatz, Ring Strasse, Kärntner Strasse, and Mariahilfer Strasse, the shopping haven. After the first section of the tour showcasing Vienna Masterpieces, we will have free time before heading to Grinzing in the evening. We will spend free time shopping and having dinner in the beautifully decorated wine houses and restaurants in this charming village known for its two-story flower-decorated homes and lush gardens with grapevines. After this delightful day in Vienna, we will return to our hotel for free time.
DAY 4: VIENNA – HALLSTATT – SALZBURG – VIENNA (Vienna Concert Night)
After breakfast, we set off for Hallstatt. During our journey, you will have the opportunity to capture unforgettable photos amidst the stunning views of alpine villages and glacial lakes. In Hallstatt, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List and is a fairy-tale land with its untouched nature, you will be able to walk around and enjoy nature. After this tour, we move on to Salzburg. Upon arrival in Salzburg, we will organize our city tour. Salzburg, named for the wealthy salt deposits that enabled the first settlers to thrive, now largely sustains its tourism income. During our panoramic city tour of Salzburg, we will see panoramic views of Old Town, Mozart’s House, Salzburg Museum, Festung Hohensalzburg Castle, Salzburg Cathedral, and Mirabell Palace. After the Salzburg tour, we will have free time before returning to our hotel in the Vienna region. (If the Salzburg tour cannot be organized due to weather and traffic conditions, a tour to Wolfgangsee and St. Gilgen Lakes region will be conducted instead). In the evening, guests wishing to do so can attend the Vienna Concert Night and enjoy a wonderful classical music experience.
DAY 5: VIENNA (Seegrotte Baden & Schönbrunn Palace Gardens Tour) – (Cesky Krumlov Tour) – PRAGUE
After breakfast and completing the check-out procedures from the hotel, guests wishing to do so can join the optionally organized Seegrotte Baden & Schönbrunn Palace Gardens Tour. During this tour, we will begin by visiting the famous hunting lodge at Mayerling and then explore the magnificent gardens of Schönnbrunn Palace, constructed in 1683 on the property owned by Emperor Maximilian as a summer residence for Empress Maria Theresa. We will then have a panoramic view of the Liechtenstein Castle, which has existed since the 1200s but took its current form in 1840, resembling something one might find in a fairy tale. After completing the tour, we will depart for Prague. On the way, guests wishing to do so can join the optionally organized Cesky Krumlov Tour. This charming town appears to be an island within the bends of the Vltava River, and is a UNESCO World Heritage site, being a true medieval city. The St. Vitus Church and the Cesky Krumlov Castle built in the 13th century are two notable structures. You can find an opportunity to view the entire city from the tower of the castle. Following the tour, we will continue our journey towards Prague. Upon arrival in Prague, we will transfer to our hotel and have free time to settle in and rest.
DAY 6: PRAGUE (Prague Masterpieces & Karlovy Vary Tour) – (Vltava River Boat and Prague Night Tour)
After breakfast, we will have free time. During this free time, guests wishing to do so can partake in the optionally organized Prague Masterpieces & Karlovy Vary Tour. Our tour begins with the picturesque natural beauty of Karlovy Vary, a once popular destination for European aristocracy and statesmen during the 17th and 18th centuries (entrance fees included). We will see the hotels where Atatürk stayed in 1918, Dvorak, Mozart, Goethe, Beethoven, Pushkin, and Tsar Peter the Great all resided, and visit the thermal galleries with the 12 different thermal waters, as well as have the opportunity to shop for crystals, porcelain, garnets, amber stones, and other traditional Czech souvenirs. After the Karlovy Vary tour, we will return to the city center of Prague for our Prague Masterpieces tour. We will start our tour with Prague Castle, one of the largest castles in the world, which is also recorded as the largest ancient castle in the Guinness Book of Records. During the visit to Prague Castle, we will see St. Vitus Cathedral, The Royal Palace (Old Royal Palace), and the multiple beautiful Royal Palace Courtyards. Our tour will also include Mala Strana (the Minorities Region), Lennon Wall, which preserves the memory of the legendary Beatles' singer John Lennon adorned with song lyrics and graffiti, Charles Bridge, Wenceslas Square (New Town Square), Powder Gate Tower, which is the historical entry gate of the old town, and the Jewish Quarter. After the tour, we will offer free time in the city center of Prague. During this free time, guests wishing to do so can participate in the optionally organized Vltava River Boat and Prague Night Tour. In this tour, we will begin with a boat ride on the Vltava River where a local drink will be served, allowing us to admire all the beauty of Prague in the evening lights, and afterwards we will take a walking tour in the city center to explore Prague, an active and elegant city, illuminated by the evening lights. We will transfer back to our hotel after the tour.
DAY 7: PRAGUE (Kings City Dresden Tour) – (Terezin Tour) – (Czech Gala Night)
After breakfast, we have a full day of free time. Guests wishing to do so can join the optionally organized Kings City Dresden Tour. During our journey to Dresden, guests can optionally participate in the Terezin Tour along the way. Terezin was established in the late 18th century for defense purposes but during World War II, it became a place where approximately 32,000 prisoners were gathered under harsh conditions and left to die due to Hitler’s occupation of Czechoslovakia (an entry fee applies). During the Terezin tour, we will witness the conditions endured by the prisoners during their horrible treatment and see the traces of one of the darkest and most shameful periods in human ideology and targets. Once completing the Terezin tour, we arrive in Dresden. With a history stretching back to 7500 BC, Dresden is a significant center of Saxony-State and is known for its Baroque architecture. Despite suffering extensive damage during World War II, many of its historical landmarks have been swiftly restored, making it one of Germany's most important technology centers today. For centuries, it has hosted the Kings of Saxony, earning it the title "Kings City." Our tour will showcase the various architectural styles of monuments, historical buildings, and bridges present within Dresden, such as the Frauenkirche, Zwinger Palace, Bruhl Terrace, King's Way, Elbe River, and Martin Luther statue. After the tour, we will have free time before returning to our hotel in Prague. In the evening, guests wishing to do so can join the optionally organized Czech Gala Night, which will include a dinner served with unlimited drinks alongside local music and dance performances, creating a fun gala on our last night of the tour. After the entertainment program, we will transfer back to our hotel.
DAY 8: PRAGUE – ISTANBUL
After breakfast and checking out from the hotel, we will organize a panoramic city tour. During our Prague city tour, we will visit the Presidential Palace, the old town square made in honor of King IV Charles, who made Prague the capital of Bohemia, and the Astronomical Clock Tower, recognized as the oldest working clock in the world. After the tour, we will provide free time before departing for Prague Airport for our flight to Istanbul at the time indicated by our guide. After baggage check and passport control, we will fly to Istanbul with Turkish Airlines flight TK1772, departing at 14:55. We will arrive at Istanbul Airport at 18:40 (local time) and conclude our tour.
