Following our arrival, we move towards Mostar with our private bus waiting for us. Mostar Bridge, built in 1557 by Architect Hayreddin, is a unique example of Ottoman architecture. The bridge was destroyed by Croatian artillery during the war in 1992, but it was rebuilt in 2004 with significant support from the Republic of Turkey. The rebirth of the Mostar Bridge is considered an important restoration, following the loss of a monument significant in history and culture. Next, we visit the Koski Mehmet Pasha Mosque. After our tour, we continue towards Blagaj. We visit Blagaj, the birthplace of the Buna River, Europe's strongest water source. Blagaj Tekke, built in the 1520s, reflects the influences of Ottoman architecture and Mediterranean style and is regarded as a national monument by Bosnians.
