DAY 1: ISTANBUL – COLOGNE – DUSSELDORF – COLOGNE
After meeting your guide at the Istanbul Airport International Terminal and completing your luggage and ticket procedures at the Turkish Airlines counter, we will depart for Cologne on a scheduled flight with Turkish Airlines. After our arrival, we will proceed to Düsseldorf with our private vehicle. We will have a panoramic city tour of Düsseldorf. During our city tour, we will see the world-famous shopping street Königsallee, the MedienHafen district known for its modern architecture, and the iconic Rheinturm. We will also take a short walk around Altstadt (Old Town) and the Rathaus to get a closer look at the city’s historical structure. After the tour, we will return to Cologne and start our Panoramic Cologne City Tour. The highlights of our city tour include the famous Cologne Cathedral, the banks of the Rhine River, and the Old Town. Afterward, we will transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
DAY 2: COLOGNE – KOBLENZ – FRANKFURT
After breakfast at our hotel, we will set off towards Frankfurt. Along the way, we will have the opportunity to see Koblenz, located at the confluence of the Rhine and Moselle rivers, famous for its historic squares and river views. Koblenz stands out as one of the most characteristic stops in the romantic Rhine Valley with its medieval structures and the Deutsches Eck monument. After visiting Koblenz, we will continue our journey to Frankfurt. Upon arrival, we will embark on our Panoramic Frankfurt City Tour. We will see the Cathedral, which hosted the coronation ceremonies of Holy Roman Emperors in the Middle Ages, the Palmengarten, Frankfurt's largest and most impressive botanical garden with its green spaces and greenhouses housing plants from all around the world, and Römerberg Square, known for its historic half-timbered houses and medieval town hall, as well as the Christmas markets. After this, we will transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
DAY 3: FRANKFURT – WÜRZBURG – ROTHENBURG – STRASBOURG
After breakfast at our hotel, we will depart for the Würzburg & Rothenburg Christmas Markets Tour. Our first stop will be Würzburg, located along the Romantic Road. During our city tour in Würzburg, we will have the opportunity to see the Old Main Bridge, Market Square, St. Kilian Cathedral, and the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Würzburg Residence. Then, we will head to Rothenburg ob der Tauber, where we will visit the Town Hall, St. Jacob's Church, the Burggarten, and take a walk through the medieval streets, as well as visit the city’s famous Christmas market. After the tour, we will transfer to our hotel in Strasbourg. Overnight at our hotel.
DAY 4: STRASBOURG – ALSACE – COLMAR – STRASBOURG
After breakfast at the hotel, we will set off for the Alsace Wonders Colmar & Strasbourg Tour. First, we will head to the fairy-tale city of Colmar, where we will see the Old Customs House, the Pfister House, and the colorful houses around the Rhine River, including the most famous area known as Petite Venise (Little Venice). In this unique setting surrounded by the Rhine River and canals, you will have the chance to taste delicious foods and purchase many souvenirs. Our next stop will be Riquewihr, known for its vineyards, flowered balconies, unique shops, cobblestone streets, buildings largely untouched by the Second World War, and charming cafes; it also houses the Dolder Museum, showcasing the city's history with documents. Riquewihr, the most visited village in the Alsace region, has a population of about 1,100 and is surrounded by vineyards. The allure of the grape harvest festivals, which begin in mid-September every year, enhances Riquewihr's appeal, with its typical German architecture, half-timbered pastel-colored houses adorned with flowers lining a gently sloping main street called “Grand Rue.” After completing our visit here, we will return to Strasbourg for our Panoramic Strasbourg City Tour. We are in the second most important city of the European Union after Brussels. The city is rich in history and culture, being associated with Gutenberg, Rouget de Lisle, the Dutch philosopher Erasmus, and the German writer Goethe. The historic city center of Strasbourg, part of the UNESCO World Heritage List, is in the “Grande Ile” area. The city tour will feature the Notre Dame Cathedral and many other sites, most of which are surrounded by a river on an island. To the southwest of this island lies the beautiful and interesting district of La Petite France. This area, where rivers converge and where there are historical houses and museums dating back to the Renaissance period, is full of charm. After the tour, we will transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
DAY 5: STRASBOURG – BASEL – ISTANBUL
After breakfast at the hotel, we will proceed to Basel. Upon arrival, our guests will have free time to explore the charming Christmas markets. After the free time, we will meet at the time determined by our guide for our transfer to the airport. After completing our luggage, ticket, and customs procedures, we will depart for Istanbul on a scheduled flight with Turkish Airlines. With our arrival, our tour and services will conclude.
