DAY 1: DEPARTURE FROM ÇEŞME
SOUTH ISLAND TOUR (ARMOLIA – MESTA – PYRGI)
At 07:45 in the morning, after the check-in and passport procedures at the check-in office located at the Çeşme Customs Port entrance, we take our places on the ferry.
At 08:30, we set off towards the blues of the Aegean and, after approximately a 30-minute pleasant journey, we arrive at Chios Island. Our guide welcomes us at the Chios Island Port, and we begin our island tour.
Our first stop is Armolia Village, famous for its handmade ceramics. We take a short break at a ceramics workshop here.
Next, we visit Mesta, one of the best-preserved castle-villages from the Middle Ages to the present day. We stroll through its labyrinthine narrow streets, enjoy a coffee break in the village square, and see the Taksiarchis Church.
After that, we move on to Pyrgi Village, known for its geometric patterned houses. Our guide provides us with information about the special decoration technique called “Ksista”.
After the tour, we give free time for lunch at a tavern by the sea. Guests can enjoy fresh seafood and mezes if they wish.
At the end of the tour, we head to our hotel.
After our check-in procedures, we will stay at our hotel.
DAY 2: FREE TIME
After having breakfast at the hotel, the day is yours dear guests...
Guests who wish can take a pleasant walk in the bustling center of Chios Island, enjoy shopping in boutique stores, sip their coffees at seaside cafes with Aegean views, or enjoy the sea in the clear waters. In the evening, for those who wish, you can participate in an unforgettable Greek Night with live music and dance performances, where you can taste the selected flavors of traditional Greek cuisine, accompanied by “bouzouki” melodies.
We will stay at our hotel.
DAY 3: RETURN TO ÇEŞME FROM CHIOS
NORTH ISLAND TOUR (TABAKİKA – DASKALOPETRA – LANGADA – AGIOS ISIDOROS)
After having breakfast at the hotel, we start our North Island tour.
Our first stop is Tabakika, the historic four windmills by the sea, which is one of the symbols of the island. Here, we take a photo break with a view of the Aegean.
Next, we move to Daskalopetra, believed to be where Homer composed his works. This rocky area, which was turned into a school by his students in the 6th century BC, is one of the most important spots on the island both historically and culturally.
We have our lunch break in Langada, a charming fishing village. We have the opportunity to experience fresh seafood, mezes, and local delicacies at the seaside taverns.
On our way back, we take a photo break at Agios Isidoros Church, one of the iconic structures of Chios Island that stands over the sea. It is said that mastic gum is associated with this saint.
After the tour, we head to the port. After completing our customs and passport procedures, we begin our return journey to Çeşme with the 18:15 ferry.
