DAY 1: ISTANBUL – ROME
Meeting our valued guests at 09:00 in front of the AJet Airlines check-in counter at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport. Departure for Rome on AJet Airlines' scheduled flight VF73 at 11:25. Arrival at 12:10 and departure with our private bus for a city tour. After arrival, we start exploring this beautiful city, which is the capital of Italy and world history, by discovering its most important historical points panoramically. Our first stop is the Colosseum and the Arch of Constantine next to it. Then we enjoy the view of the Roman Forum and the panoramic vision of the city from Capitoline Hill. At Piazza della Bocca della Verità, we see the “Mouth of Truth” statue, passing by the ancient Teatro Marcello and reaching the banks of the Tiber River. Our tour concludes with a view of Castel Sant’Angelo along the river. After the tour, guests who wish can join the extra Angels & Demons Tour. Transfer to our hotel and check in to our rooms. Overnight stay at our hotel in Rome. During our Angels and Demons tour, we will discover the most important squares, monuments, and religious buildings that reflect the spirit of Rome. Our first stop will be Piazza della Repubblica, one of the busiest points in Rome. Then we will visit Piazza Venezia, the city’s administrative and historical center, seeing the magnificent Vittorio Emanuele II Monument panoramically. We will take a short photo break at the Baroque masterpiece of Piazza Navona with Bernini’s Fountain of the Four Rivers. Our next stop will be the architecturally dazzling ancient Pantheon. Following this, we will reach the Fontana di Trevi (Trevi Fountain), which has become a symbol of Rome, where we will perform the traditional wish ritual. Our walk continues at Spanish Steps and Piazza del Popolo, which serves as the northern gateway. In the final part of our walk, we will transition to the Vatican, the center of the Christian world, to see the magnificent St. Peter's Square, surrounded by columns designed by Bernini. Afterward, we will enter St. Peter's Basilica with our guide. Here, we will have the opportunity to individually explore Michelangelo's designed dome, the Pietà statue, and the unique works of art within the basilica. Inside, there will be no guided narration; the visit will take place in a personal exploration format. This walk through Rome's intertwined atmosphere of history, art, and faith will offer an unforgettable experience.
DAY 2: ROME – NAPLES & POMPEII – ROME
After having breakfast in the morning, we will have a free day. Guests who wish can participate in the Pompeii Ancient City and Naples City Tour or the optional Rome by Night tour in the evening. Overnight stay at our hotel in Rome. Pompeii, one of the most impressive archaeological sites in Italy, was an ancient Roman city suddenly buried by the lava of Mount Vesuvius in AD 79 and rediscovered centuries later. In this tour, accompanied by a licensed local guide, you will walk along the stone streets and closely see the traces of the Roman era; you will experience the daily life through its baths, houses, frescoes, shops, and mosaics. After visiting Pompeii, we transfer to Naples, the largest city in southern Italy. In this historic port city situated at the foot of Vesuvius, we will have a panoramic city tour, seeing key structures like Castel Nuovo, the Royal Palace, San Carlo Theatre, Umberto Gallery, and Spaccanapoli from outside. During the free time, you can taste Naples' famous street delicacies and enjoy an unparalleled lunch break in the city where Italian pizza was born. DAY 3: ROME – PISA – FLORENCE – MONTECATINI
After having breakfast in the morning, we will head towards Florence. Those who wish can participate in the Pisa Tour along the way. Florence, known as the birthplace of the Renaissance, is not only one of Italy's most important cultural centers but also a pivotal city in the history of European art and thought. Under the auspices of the Medici family, this city birthed and showcased many geniuses like Dante Alighieri, Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo Buonarroti, and Botticelli. It also played a pioneering role in banking, textiles, and art throughout history, and served as the capital of the Italian Kingdom for a time. During our city tour, we will see key masterpieces such as the Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral (Duomo), the impressive Baptistery and Giotto’s Bell Tower, Palazzo Vecchio (Signoria Palace) in the political center of the city, the sculptures in Loggia dei Lanzi, the Uffizi Gallery which hosts world-famous collections, the historical and elegant Ponte Vecchio Bridge over the Arno River, Piazza della Repubblica that blends the modern and the historical of the city, and the San Lorenzo Market known for local products. We’ll also get a chance to see the Leaning Tower of Pisa up close. Our tour will include a visit to the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Miracle Square (Piazza dei Miracoli); the guide will provide information about the Pisa Cathedral, Baptistery, and Leaning Tower from the outside. After the tour, there will be free time for guests to take photos and explore the surroundings. DAY 4: MONTECATINI – VERONA – VENICE
After breakfast, we head towards Venice. Guests who wish can participate in the Verona & Lake Garda Tour along the way. After our tour, we proceed to Venice. After a pleasant Vaporetto journey from Tronchetto port, we disembark near St. Mark's Square in the historic center of the city and start our tour through the canals. Here, where motorized vehicles are replaced by boats, we walk from the slave beach towards St. Mark's Square, where we can see the Venice prison and "Ponte dei Sospiri" (Bridge of Sighs) connecting the prison to the Doge’s Palace, along with St. George Island across the bridge, and the twin columns in the main facade of the Doge’s Palace representing the entrance to the city, adorned with symbols of Venice. The square housing St. Mark's Cathedral was referred to by Napoleon as “the most beautiful square in the world.” Although the cathedral's construction was completed in the 9th century, it underwent significant changes until the 17th century. The four bronze horses seen on the main facade were brought from Istanbul after the Second Crusade. During your free time, you can observe the statue figures atop the clock tower striking on the hour and climb the bell tower for a bird’s eye view of all Venice. Additionally, guests who wish can join the extra Burano Island Tour. After our tour, we will have free time. Following that, we will proceed to our hotel, distribute the rooms, and overnight stay at our hotel in Venice. We will see the historical palace of the Verona dukedom, which was long under Venetian Republic, the Erbe square still used as a market today, and the second largest amphitheater in Italy after Rome's Colosseum. Walking through shopping streets paved with marble, we will view the palace where Dante Alighieri lived during his exile. After seeing the Scaligero tombs which once governed Verona, we will panoramically see the house where Romeo and Juliet, inspired by English playwright William Shakespeare, were born. After a short free time, we will head to Lake Garda, the largest lake in Italy. In Garda, with its natural beauty, peaceful atmosphere, and lakeside vistas, you can enjoy a refreshing stroll, capture unique landscapes in your photographs, and savor the cool breezes. After our free time, we will return to our bus to complete the tour. Burano Island, the most colorful corner of the Venetian lagoon, has a captivating atmosphere with its brightly colored houses and tranquil streets. After a short walk with our guide, guests will have free time to admire Burano’s famous handmade lace, stroll among the pastel-colored houses, and take a coffee break by the lakeside. With its quietness, simplicity, and fairy-tale appearance, Burano will add a serene yet unforgettable memory to your Venice trip.
DAY 5: VENICE – LAKE COMO AND TOWN – MILAN
After breakfast, we head towards Milan. Upon arrival in Milan, we begin our city tour. Milan is a city characterized by elegance and wealth rather than charm and creativity. It is undoubtedly the lifeblood of the Italian economy and one of the most visitable cities in Italy. During our panoramic city tour of Milan, we will see the Sforza Castle, one of the city's historical landmarks; the Galleria, known as Europe’s first covered shopping center, which had a significant influence during the 19th-century industrial revolution. The Gothic Duomo, with its façade adorned with over 2000 sculptures, is the fourth largest church in the world. You can observe the richness of the storefronts on the fashion-central streets, 'via monte napoleone' and 'via la spiga'. After our free time, guests who wish can join the Lake Como and Town tour. After our tour, we head to our hotel for an overnight stay in Milan. Located about 1.5 hours from Milan, Lake Como stands out with its natural beauties and serene atmosphere. During this tour, we will reach the town of Como and take a short walk with our guide, followed by free time for shopping and strolling.
DAY 6: MILAN – BERGAMO – ISTANBUL
After breakfast, we will check out from our rooms and transfer to Bergamo Airport at the hour determined by our guides. Guests who wish can participate in the Bergamo Tour on the way. After our tour, we will transfer to the airport. After luggage and passport procedures, we will fly to Istanbul on AJet flight VF62 at 13:15. After a comfortable flight, we will arrive at Sabiha Gökçen Airport at 17:55, marking the end of our tour. We hope to see you in our next organization. Bergamo, located at the foot of the Alps, attracts attention with its divided structure, comprising modern Bergamo Bassa (lower city) and historical Bergamo Alta (upper city). During our panoramic city tour, we will pass by Viale Roma Street, the historical Città Alta area surrounded by ancient walls, Piazza Vecchia square, Colleoni Chapel, and Santa Maria Maggiore Basilica.
