DAY 1: DEPARTURE FROM KUŞADASI – DISCOVERY OF VATHY

We meet at the Kuşadası Port (Scala Nuova) at 07:30. After completing our passport procedures, we set off by fast ferry at 08:30 and arrive at Samos Island’s central Vathy Port after approximately 45 minutes of enjoyable sea travel. On some dates, our guide can meet you at Samos Port and you can join the tour from there.

Our guide will meet passengers coming from Seferihisar at Samos port.

To expedite the transit visa process, we recommend passengers who will be obtaining a visa to sit close to the exit on the ferry.

Check-in time at our hotels is at 15:00, and if available, guests can check in to their rooms earlier.

In the afternoon, we gather at 16:00 at the specified point by our guide and start discovering Vathy with our guide. During our approximately one and a half hour walking tour, we begin to explore Vathy. Throughout this pleasant walking tour, we receive information from our guide about the rich history of the island, the culture of daily life, the lifestyle of the local people, charming cafes, delicious restaurants, and entertainment spots. As we walk through the narrow streets, we closely witness both the past and the current spirit of Samos.

During our walk, we see the only Catholic Church on the island, which is currently abandoned. This structure, with its silence and mystical atmosphere, becomes one of our special stops that shed light on the multicultural history of the island.

Next, we reach the Aslanlı Square, which is the heart of the city and the oldest square in Samos that is still actively used. Here, we see both the lion statue, which is the symbol of the square, and discover the historical texture surrounding it. The Town Hall and Archaeology Museum located around the square are important structures that carry significant traces of the island's history.

In the last part of our tour, we conclude our tour at the monument of Themistocles Sofoulis, who is regarded as an important figure in modern Greek history and the first President of Samos. At this meaningful spot, we take souvenir photos and engrave the atmosphere of Vathy, intertwined with history and culture, into our memories.

During your remaining free time, you can relax in cafes with views of Vathy, take a walk along the beach, or enjoy the sea.

In the evening, one of the best reflections of the island's spirit awaits you. In our optional organized Taverna Night program, we enjoy in a pleasant atmosphere accompanied by live Greek music. The menu offered during the evening includes unlimited ouzo and wine. Guests wishing to continue the nightlife can get suggestions from our guide for different venues.

DAY 2: GREAT ISLAND TOUR

After breakfast at our hotel, we meet at the port at 09:30 and set off to explore the island. During our tour, we first get a panoramic view of the Vathy region to gather general information about the settlement of the island.

Then we change our route to Kokari, one of the most photogenic spots on the island. After our guide gives information while we tour the area panoramically, we will have free time here. Guests can enjoy the turquoise sea, take a walk along the beach, or capture amazing photos of postcard-like views.

Our next stop is Pythagorion, known as the birthplace of the famous mathematician Pythagoras. In this area, which enchants with its historical texture and seaside atmosphere, we conduct our tour with our guide while learning about Samos Castle, the Transfiguration Church, and the famous Blue Street. After a short walk in the port area, we take a photo break in front of the Pythagoras Monument.

Afterwards, we have free time for a pleasant meal break at some of the most popular restaurants by the sea. You have the chance to taste fresh seafood and the delights of Greek cuisine.

On our return journey, we take a short shopping break at Lidl, one of Europe's largest chain markets. Here you can find both affordable products and local flavors.

After breakfast at our hotel, your day is completely yours. You can swim in the beautiful beaches of the island, enjoy the sun and crystal-clear waters in the turquoise coves.

You can take pleasant walks in the streets of Vathy, take a Greek coffee break in beach cafes, or buy souvenirs in souvenir shops on the island. Guests who wish can rent a car to explore different beaches and villages on the island, and seize the opportunity to swim in hidden coves.

DAY 6: RETURN TO KUŞADASI FROM SAMOS

(Optional Boat Tour Opportunity)

After our breakfast, we check out of our rooms. You can leave your luggage at the hotel and enjoy the last moments on the island until the ferry time.

For guests who wish, an unforgettable experience of an Optional Private Boat Tour is organized. We embark from Vathy Port with our boat, accommodating a maximum of 20 people, and enjoy a delightful blue journey with swimming breaks in inaccessible coves for about 4 hours.

At our return time, we meet at the port for passport control. After passport procedures and free shop shopping, we board the ferry and arrive in Kuşadası after approximately 45 minutes of travel.
