Tour Program
DAY 1: ISTANBUL – MILAN
Meeting at the Turkish Airlines check-in counter at the International Departures terminal of Istanbul Airport 3 hours before the flight. After handling luggage, ticket, and passport procedures, we will depart to Milan at 06:50 on Turkish Airlines flight TK1873. We will arrive at 08:45 local time, and then our panoramic city tour begins with our vehicle waiting for us at the airport. In Milan, famous for its richness in historical and modern landscapes, we will visit the Duomo Cathedral, one of the largest and most magnificent Gothic cathedrals in the world, La Scala, one of the oldest opera houses in the world, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, a dazzling arched shopping gallery from the 19th century, and Castello Sforzesco (Milan Castle) with its magnificent architecture. After the tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 2: MILAN
After having breakfast at the hotel, guests may join the Magnificent Lakes (Como & Lugano) and Outlet Center tour if they wish. (70 Euro) Our first stop on the tour is Como. Named after the lake it’s associated with, this city has a unique nature that draws visitors from all over the world. Como is also noted for its architectural beauty reflecting Gothic and Renaissance styles, as well as the homes of world-famous personalities like Madonna and George Clooney. After exploring Como, our second stop is Lugano. Lugano Lake is a breathtaking lake located in southern Switzerland at the foot of the Alps, blending both cultural and natural features of Switzerland and Italy. Known for its stunning views and elegant shopping streets, we will take a break to shop at the outlet featuring world-renowned brands after our tour. Transfer back to our hotel after the tour. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 3: MILAN – VERONA – VENICE
After having breakfast at the hotel, we head towards Venice. Along the way, we will participate in the Magnificent Verona Tour. (The cost of the Verona tour is included) Verona is a historic city located on the banks of the Adige River in northern Italy, with a rich cultural heritage dating back to Roman times. The city evokes history, architecture, and literature, and is known for Shakespeare's famous work "Romeo and Juliet"; the building known as Juliet's house attracts visitors with its balcony. Among Verona's impressive structures with medieval architecture is the Arena di Verona, an amphitheater dating back to the 1st century that still hosts significant concerts today. Additionally, the city’s narrow stone streets and vibrant squares like Piazza delle Erbe and Piazza Bra reflect its rich history and cultural diversity. After the tour, we continue our journey towards Venice. A historical fairy-tale city that dances on water, characterized by its romanticism and mystery, Venice is wrapped in a labyrinth of canals and gondolas. During our city tour, we will see St. Mark’s Cathedral and Square, the Doge's Palace, the Grand Canal, the Bridge of Sighs, and the Rialto Bridge. After the tour, guests may optionally participate in the Magnificent Gondola Tour in the Venetian Canals. (35 Euro) In this tour, we will have the opportunity to see Venice’s canals in traditional gondolas. After the tour ends, transfer to our hotel and free time. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 4: VENICE – BOLOGNA – FLORENCE
After having breakfast at the hotel, we head towards Florence. Along the way, we will conduct our Magnificent Bologna tour. (The cost of the Bologna tour is included.) Bologna is a historical settlement known for its cultural richness, located in the region among the Apennine Mountains in northern Italy. During our city tour, we will see Piazza Maggiore, the Basilica of San Petronio, the Podestà Palace, and the Town Hall. After the tour, we will continue our journey to Florence. Upon arrival in Florence, the birthplace of the Renaissance, we begin our panoramic city tour. Florence, a cultural, artistic, and architectural gem, will host us with the Duomo Church (Santa Maria Del Fiore), the Baptistery, the Old Palace, the Ponte Vecchio, and Piazza Signoria. After the tour, transfer to our hotel and free time. Overnight at our hotel in Montecatini.
DAY 5: FLORENCE – PISA & SIENA & SAN GIMIGNANO – FLORENCE
After having breakfast at the hotel, guests may optionally join the Magnificent Tuscany Towns (Pisa & Siena & Gimignano) Tour. (100 Euro) Our first stop will be the Leaning Tower of Pisa, one of the country's symbols. After taking great photos here, we move on to Siena, a city listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Siena offers visitors a time travel experience with its narrow streets and stone buildings, along with its historic Piazza del Campo and impressive cathedral, acting as an elegant fortress in the heart of traditional Italian city life. Our last stop on the tour will be San Gimignano. San Gimignano, located in the heart of Tuscany, is famous for its towers that rise like a fairy tale from the Middle Ages. Known as the "Manhattan of the Middle Ages," this impressive settlement stands out with 14 high towers resulting from the wealth and prestige struggles of city-states in the 14th century. With its narrow, labyrinthine streets and historical buildings, it preserves the traces of the past vividly for visitors. Additionally, the town, which offers tremendous panoramic views, also enchants with its artistic and cultural riches, featuring buildings constructed in Gothic and Romanesque styles, and its historical square Piazza della Cisterna with its captivating frescoes, serving as a true treasure of history and art. After the tour, transfer back to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 6: FLORENCE – ORVIETO – ROME
After having breakfast at the hotel, we head towards the largest city and capital of the country, Rome. Along the way, we will participate in the Magnificent Orvieto Tour. (The cost of the Orvieto tour is included.) Located in central Italy, this impressive medieval town situated on a high volcanic hill is famous for its Gothic-style magnificent cathedral, wide square, and historical streets. The mosaics and detailed exterior of the Orvieto Cathedral are both artistic and architectural masterpieces. After the tour, we will continue our journey to Rome. Having been the center of one of the greatest civilizations in the past, the city has been the center of power, culture, and religion for about 2500 years. The historic center of the city is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The city’s rich historical heritage features splendid palaces, millennial churches and basilicas, impressive romantic remains, showy monuments, ornate sculptures, and elegant fountains. Places to see in the city include the Vatican (St. Peter's Cathedral), the Colosseum where gladiatorial contests were held, the Roman Forum, the Vittorio Emanuele Monument, the famous Trevi Fountain (known as the Fountain of Love in our country), and the Spanish Steps (Piazza di Spagna). After the tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 7: ROME – CASTEL GONDOLFO & NEMI & VATICAN – NAPLES
After having breakfast at the hotel, guests may optionally join the Magnificent Castel Gandolfo & Nemi & Outlet & Vatican Tour. (80 Euro) Our first stop will be Castel Gandolfo, known as the papal summer residence. This historic palace and its surroundings are renowned for their stunning views and beautiful gardens. Then we head to Nemi Village. Located around the Nemi Lake formed in a volcanic crater, this village is also known as the "strawberry village" due to the area’s famous fresh and delicious strawberries. The village is an attractive place for tourists and nature lovers due to its historic ruins, narrow cobblestone streets, and beautiful lake views. During the free time given, you will have the opportunity to explore the village and shop. After our tour, we will head to Italy’s most famous outlet area and provide free time for shopping. After our tour, we will move to St. Peter’s Square in Vatican City, which is considered the center of Christianity. Upon arrival, you will have free time to visit the basilica and square. As you walk through the square, the obelisk in the center and the surrounding columns will surely mesmerize you. After the tour, we will head to Naples. This vibrant port city in southern Italy, filled with historical and cultural riches, offers a unique character with its lively markets, traditional pizza, and impressive historical remains, all set against the backdrop of the magnificent Vesuvius Volcano. After the tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 8: NAPLES – ISTANBUL
After having breakfast at the hotel, guests may optionally join the Magnificent Pompeii Tour. (60 Euro) You will embark on a deep journey into Ancient Rome at this archaeological site of the Antic city that was destroyed by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD, where the ruins of the settlements and daily life are astonishingly well-preserved. After our tour, transfer to the Naples airport. After completing luggage, ticket and passport procedures, we will depart to Istanbul on Turkish Airlines flight TK1880 at 19:10. Arrival at 22:35 local time and end of our tour.
