Tour Program
DAY 1: ISTANBUL – BARCELONA
Meeting in front of Turkish Airlines counter at Istanbul Airport International Departure terminal 3 hours before the flight. After luggage, ticket, and passport procedures, we will depart for Barcelona on Turkish Airlines flight TK 1853 at 09:10. We will arrive at 11:00 local time and start our panoramic city tour with our vehicle waiting at the airport. Barcelona is Spain's second largest city and has gained worldwide fame as the vibrant and fascinating capital of the Catalonia region. This magnificent city, washed by the warm waters of the Mediterranean, offers a unique blend of history, art, culture, and entertainment. With its magnificent architecture, colorful streets, delicious cuisine, and lively nightlife, Barcelona attracts millions of visitors every year. The city is like an open-air museum adorned with Antoni Gaudí's unique works. During our city tour, we will visit places such as the Sagrada Familia Church, Cristof Colomb Monument, Montjuic Hill, La Ramblas Street, Spain and Catalunya Squares, Endülüs Arena, and the Olympic Port. After our tour, we will transfer to our hotel and have free time. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 2: BARCELONA – GIRONDA & FIGUERAS (DALÍ MUSEUM) – BARCELONA
After breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish can join the optional tour "The Glorious Northern Catalonia Pearls (Girona & Figueras & Dalí Museum)" (70 Euro). Our first stop will be Girona. Located about 100 kilometers northeast of Barcelona, Girona is a historic city famous for its narrow streets, historical buildings, museums, churches, and walls dating back to the Middle Ages. During our tour here, we will see the Lion statue, Cathedral Square, and the famous Jewish Quarter (El Call). After the tour, we will head to Figueras. Figueras, located northeast of Girona, is known as the birthplace of Salvador Dalí. The city is closely associated with the life and works of the famous Spanish painter Salvador Dalí. The most important tourist attraction in Figueras is the Salvador Dalí Museum. Dalí established this museum in his birthplace to leave something behind and showcase his works. This museum now houses the largest collection of Dalí's works and is referred to as Dalí's greatest masterpiece since he designed it entirely. The museum contains over 4,000 works by Dalí, created using different techniques. After the tour, we will transfer back to our hotel. In the evening, guests who wish can join the optional tour "Glorious Flamenco Fire" (55 Euro). Flamenco is considered an expression of emotion and passion and is an important part of Spain’s cultural heritage. Both dance and music flamenco offer a lively and exciting experience to the audience. After spending wonderful time here, we will transfer back to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 3: BARCELONA – PARK GÜELL & GOTHIC QUARTER – BARCELONA
After breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish can join the optional tour “Gaudi's Magnificent Works Park Guell & Gothic Quarter” (60 Euro). Our first stop will be Park Guell. One of Antoni Gaudi’s magnificent works, Park Guell, is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Known as the storybook park, this park creates a fairy-tale atmosphere with its colorful stairs and whimsical pavilions. After visiting this magnificent work of Gaudi, our second stop will be the Gothic Quarter. In the Gothic Quarter, you can feel the enchanting atmosphere of the Middle Ages with its narrow, labyrinthine streets, gothic churches, romantic squares, and Roman walls, and admire the historical texture. Among the most important structures in the district are Barcelona Cathedral, Plaça Reial (Royal Square), Plaça del Rei (King's Square), and La Rambla. After our tour, guests who wish can join the optional “Magnificent Sitges Tour” (40 Euro). Sitges is a charming coastal town located southwest of Barcelona, along the Mediterranean coast. Known for its turquoise sea, beautiful beaches, and lively atmosphere, it is also recognized for its art and culture events, hosting numerous art galleries, museums, and festivals. We will start our trip at the magical stairs of San Bartolome-Santa Tecla Cathedral and lose ourselves in its historical streets. This cathedral dating back to the 17th century rises over the remnants of old Romanesque and Gothic churches. After marveling at this magnificent cathedral, our next stop will be the historic streets of Sitges, where we will see the Maricel Palace and Museum, which is one of the finest examples of Modernism in the center of the medieval city. Directly across from it is the Cau Ferrat Museum, the home of Santiago Rusiñol, one of the leaders of the modernist movement in Catalonia. By starting to display his paintings here in Sitges, he also played a significant role in the town's fame. After strolling through the narrow streets where the annual Sitges Festival, known for horror and fantasy films, takes place and admiring the colorful houses and cute bars, we will head towards the beach, spending the rest of our time there enjoying like the locals. After the tour, we will transfer back to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 4: BARCELONA – ISTANBUL
After breakfast at the hotel, we will transfer to the airport at the time determined by the guide. After luggage, ticket, and passport procedures, we will depart for Istanbul New Airport on Turkish Airlines flight TK 1468 at 14:30. We will arrive at 20:05 local time, and this concludes our tour.
