Tour Program
Day 1: ISTANBUL – BERGAMO – MILAN
Meet at the AJet counter at Sabiha Gökçen International Departure Terminal with our esteemed guests at 08:00. Depart for Bergamo at 11:10 on AJet flight VF62. We will move to Milan after arriving at 12:15. Milan is a city that is not only attractive but also elegant; it is wealthy rather than creative. It is undoubtedly the lifeblood of the Italian economy and one of the most magnificent cities in Italy. During our panoramic city tour of Milan, we will see the historical Castello Sforzesco and the Galleria, known as Italy’s first covered shopping center, which made its mark in the 19th-century industrial revolution. The famous French engineer Gustave Eiffel was inspired to construct the Eiffel Tower in Paris from this place. The Duomo, which showcases Gothic art intensively, is one of the largest churches in the world and features a façade adorned with over 2,000 sculptures. Known as the center of fashion, you can see the richness of the windows on Via Monte Napoleone and Via La Spiga. After our free time, we will head to our hotel and spend the night at our hotel in Milan.
Alternative Program: Verona Tour
We will start our tour by visiting Verona, which was under the dominion of the Venetian Republic for centuries, including the governing palace of the Verona Duchy, the Erbe Square, which is still used as a marketplace to this day, and the second largest amphitheater in Italy after the Colosseum in Rome. We will pass through shopping centers paved with marble to showcase its wealth and see the palace where Dante Alighieri lived during his exile. After visiting the Scaliger Tombs of the family that ruled Verona, we will also view the house where Romeo and Juliet, who inspired the renowned English playwright William Shakespeare, were born. After the Verona tour, we will transfer to our hotel in Venice. (40€)
Day 2: MILAN – VENICE
After breakfast, we will head towards Venice. Guests wishing to participate in the Verona Tour can join. We will move to the historical island via Vaporetto from the last transportation point, Tronchetto port. After a delightful Vaporetto ride, we will get off close to Piazza San Marco, the historical center of the city, and start our tour among the canals. In Venice, all motor vehicles, including police, ambulances, garbage trucks, and public buses, have been replaced by boats. As we walk from the Slave Beach to St. Mark's Square, we will see the Venice prison, the "Ponte dei Sospiri" (Bridge of Sighs) connecting the prison to the Doge's Palace, St. George Island across the bridge, the twin columns that are referred to as the entry gate of the city, and the statues of Venice’s symbol on top of each column. The square where St. Mark's Cathedral is located has been referred to as "the most beautiful square in the world" by Napoleon. The construction of the cathedral was completed in the 9th century, but it took until the 17th century to be what it is today. The four bronze horses you will see on the main facade were brought from Istanbul during the Second Crusade. During your free time, you can watch the sculptures on top of the clock tower strike the bell every hour or climb the bell tower to see the entire view of Venice from above. After a short walk, we will see the "Ponte Rialto," the first stone bridge over the "Canal Grande," known as the commercial center, adorned with shops. After the tour, you will have free time. Later, we will head to our hotel, distribute the rooms, and spend the night at our hotel in Venice.
